Lucolena is on the road crossing through Chianti from the Valdarno. From Florence: take the S.S. 222 'Chiantigiana' road from Florence to Strada (approx. 14km) then follow the signs for Figline. Go along this road for about 12km passing through Cintoia, Passo della Panca and Dudda then turn right for Lucolena, a further 3km. Or take the A1 motorway going south and exit at Incisa Valdarno and turn left for Figline. Just before entering Figline take a right turn following the sign to Greve. After the village of Ponte agli Stolli take the turning on the left for Lucolena - three kilometres down the road and three curves after Lucolena you'll find Borgo Antico. From Siena: head for Radda and then follow the signs to Parco di Cavriglia -Lucolena. When you reach the hamlet of Dimezzano you'll see our sign on the right hand side. From Greve: head for Figline Valdarno. After Dudda take the turning on the right for Lucolena and you will find the hamlet of Dimezzano just after the village with our sign on the left-hand side of the road |
